New trainees do not want to replace them in many areas because there are so many old patients (a problem that can only get worse meaning more work). Why are so many of the over 50s now “economically inactive”? It surely could not be anything to do with how woke the workplace has become with younger generations more concerned about structural racism, critical race theory and all sorts of virtue signalling rather than getting any work done?
