That's the risk you take with babies being born, they may become a public servant like yourself or a credible citizen of the United Kingdom
Very insightful Si. It's the big nature vs nurture debate alright. Would Hitler have turned out the same if he had received a natural, loving family environment in his youth? Would you? It's a conundrum.

I think that he might have started to see the lights he's been talking about voting Labour the last couple of weeks. Maybe just doesn't want to be left out.
Looks like the tedious lightweights came over from safespace to spend yet another evening avoiding political debates.
As usual, an unsubstantiated supposition from a brain dead Remainer. The ONS figure for migration was giving numbers on actual legal migration. Of course, just like the BBC, some are only bothered about the headline big number without any actual analysis of the underlying statistics. There were 704,000 immigrants from outside the EU whilst a net 275,000 left to return to the EU. The number of asylum applications was 72,027. There were 277,000 student visas issued, many to students who had been studying remotely during the plague. Somebody wanting to make a rational argument would have pointed out that since Brexit became official in 2020, the current government has failed to implement any of the Brexit measures to which it was committed. That is primarily the fault of Boris Johnson as he was in charge for most of that time and he has always been big on rhetoric and small on action. The government has failed to get a grip on migration, especially the way that hoards of bogus students seem to get into the country to do Mickey Mouse degrees at third rate universities; and then stay on for years, bringing in members of their families. Just as an aside, somebody could have mentioned how the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR), famous for its inaccuracy, did next year’s fiscal estimates based on migration of 224,000.
