He/she is just an NPC that takes the spoon fed narrative from his/her trusted media source probably Twitter BBC without even a cursory research into the latest thing.

Once again they/them didn't even bother commenting about the original article about Qatar but instead threw out a straw man about gays being killed in Queer clubs in America by homophobes.

It's an easy mistake to make but most people would either stop digging the hole or admit they were wrong and assumed the killer was someone not from LGBTIQAPD++ community.
