The continentals were always happy to pay mad prices for certain species. That market has gone. It may well be that there us a degree of EU chicanery. But who presented them with that opportunity?

The fisheries industry is on its knees, the promises of hundreds of thousands of extra catches never happened, exclusivity to coastal waters turned out to be a complete lie, the brexit deal meant fish export has become a logistical nightmare with increased times and extortionate costs, most are worse off and feel betrayed, and the farmers have been absolutely shafted by a laughable australian trade deal orchestrated by a clown who is now PM and who you **** over every night no doubt.
