Exams passes 2022 The pass rate for pupils sitting exams in Scotland rose from 87.3% rate from 74.8% in 2019, the last year in which formal exams were sat across the country. "Pass rates for National 5s, Highers and Advanced Highers have increased compared with 2019, with A passes also up, and skills-based qualifications are close to the highest ever figure," she said. This year's statistics were published on Tuesday morning. Advanced Higher, A to C attainment was up to 33.7% from 31.8% in 2019. At Higher level, the number of pupils getting an A to C pass was up to 78.9% from 74.8% in 2019, the last year in which formal exams were sat across the country. The figures showed that 80.8% of National 5 candidates were awarded A to C grades up to 85.8% from 78.2% in 2019. The figures indicate that the number of students accepting places to study nursing at Scottish providers also increased, up 17% to 2,940 compared to 2019.” Meanwhile, the gap between attainment levels in the least and most deprived areas narrowed from the 2019 level. UCAS data also shows those in Scotland from a deprived area offered a place at university is at a record high. Up by 32% since 2019 - the last year there were exams. Scotland’s other widening access strategies mean that the percentage of students from the most deprived areas who attend university in Scotland is a 50% higher than England’s. Scotland will likely improve on the tally of around 16% of students from deprived areas who have gone to Uni the last few years – while England’s 11% has been stagnant for some time. Oooft! This will not be well received by some!
So your first thought was to get straight on 606 to see what posts had been made by a certain poster. Loser, you say
And yet here you are, on a thread you never contribute anything meaningful to, on a topic you blubbed to get closed in safespace. You don't seem to post much on the Charlton forum, which has its own politics thread. You just seem to post on this thread, and on the Prem board, which given you're a Charlton fan is amusing.
Please provide the evidence of where I’ve ever asked for any thread to be closed. The truth is, the thread on the PL board got closed by you, when you continually whined to brb. Secondly, unlike you my old fruit, I’m able to post on any board I like as I not excluded from any of them. But thanks for taking the time to check out the quantity of my posts on other boards.
Nope, the myth that I got that thread closed was busted at the time. You trying to still claim it shows your desperation. I'm also not banned from any part of the forum, including bits you have no access to and therefore unlike me, you can't post on every board, so yet another fail from you, old fruit. None of which addresses the fact that your comment about Yer Maw, fits you far better, you tedious, hypocritical ****er.
So unable to show proof that I asked for a thread to be closed. Plus the belief that you didn’t get the thread closed, only exists in your head. Chucking in the “ I’m a mod so I have greater access” reeks of desperation, but as this forum seems to be your entire life, hardly surprising.
*Sigh* There's actually a conversation in one of the threads (possibly this one) that shows your claim is desperately deluded. It's no surprise, as experience shows that's your default position. You implied I didn't have access to some parts of the forum and that you could post anywhere. I simply pointed out how that claim is false on both counts. I also pointed out why your initial claim fits you better than it fits Yer Maw, which is something you have failed to disprove. Pretty much your standard fail all round from you really.
Your original statement implied that you were blaming Capitalism for “we the people” having to bail the banks out. I disagree with that hypothesis. Gordon Brown created the problem by lack of regulation in his ten years as Chancellor and then chose the wrong solution to the problem as his investment banking accomplices got away scot-free and “we the people” ended up with the bill. I took it for granted that a foaming-at-the-mouth Scottish Nationalist would hate Labour’s most electorally successful regime as Blair betrayed the Left at the ballot box because every previous Labour government had been torn apart by the ideological losers.
When the gold belongs to “we the people”, I reckon that it should concern us that some useless Leftie got fleeced by the market at a 58 per cent loss. The way that the public purse got fleeced during the pandemic was disgraceful and clearly some people should be held to account as there was clearly a lot of fraud. Those people that set up fake companies to claim furlough or business grants should be in jail and their assets ceased to recoup some of the funds. We should not forget that one-eyed Gordon had his education/health spending spree on the PFI credit card so there are still twenty or thirty years to run of badly negotiated contracts where private sector companies will charge “we the people” hundreds of pounds to replace light bulbs in hospitals and schools.
Gordon Brown made American banks illegally sell tranches of **** mortgage futures did he? Deregulation was Thatchers baby, darling. It's true that Brown and the Red Tories did nothing to bring the spivs to heel but the blame lies firmly with blue coloured Tories. You've vilified Brown and Blair in here for months. Even in the post I'm replying to yet you think i do the same because they weren't socialist enough. Mibbe it's the mess they made of the country that I didn't particularly like eh. That's probably why I can't stand the current bunch of cùnts making a mess of the country as well.
And yet all the other shìt we the people owned and the Tories sold off to their pals doesn't bother you one bit. We the people lost a lot more than £5 billion through the Tory privatisation fire sale.
SNP SLAM LABOUR FOR BETRAYING COUNCIL WORKERS LABOUR VOTE AGAINST 5% PAY RISE FOR COUNCIL EMPLOYEES The SNP has slammed Scottish Labour for voting with the Tories against a 5% pay increase for council workers, leaving the hard working staff with an offer of a 3.5% increase. Following the £140m provided to COSLA by The Scottish Government last week, Labour and Tory council leaders voted down plans which would have allowed a 5% pay increase to be offered to council employee unions. This has reduced the current offer to 3.5% and the Labour - Tory backed measly increase will only contribute approximately £15m whilst allowing hundreds of millions in council reserves to remain. Commenting SNP MSP Bill Kidd said: "The SNP in government and in COSLA have done their part and it is deeply disappointing, but painfully unsurprising, that Scottish Labour and the Tories have cosied up to sell out the hard working employees that support our councils. Any industrial action will be as a result of their shameful partnership to stop council staff getting the pay they deserve. "Labour's disgraceful refusal to back a 5% pay increase for council workers is an outright betrayal of workers and they should hang their heads in shame. "At the same time as they block council employees from getting a pay offer they deserve, Scottish Labour councillors are also refusing to take the fight for a fair funding deal to the UK government - who have the ability to provide everyone the increased resources needed given the financial pressures we are all facing right now. That refusal to try and secure more money for Scotland from Westminster to help families and communities is appalling." The Labour Party doing its bit for the workers. Keir Hardie would be embarrassed to put his name to these useless cùnts.
