Noticing the pattern of, let's say London knife crime & the depressing familiarity of blacks murdering blacks every week & bringing attention to how unsafe London has become under an incompetent mayor & perhaps questioning if diversity is in fact a strength. Semi agree but Toby is having the time of his life. I don't think all leftists are evil pricks though. And I dont hate Toby for being a hate-filled, bitter **** either. If Toby was killed I wouldn't celebrate it despite some of his views being completely contrary to mine. Being a decent man is the least you can do for yourself, your family and your community.
American politics were fairly normal until Trump showed up. Most presidents had some sort of a problem, Bush was a thicko, Biden was senile, Clinton liked a shag, but Trump gee whizz: A liar a cheat, a racist, a crook and very likely a nonce. He has dragged America into a situation where I don't see how they'll get it back.
I think you’re putting a lot of narrative on that ‘time of his life’ being waaaay over the top, but not massively important here and I appreciate you have a history of conversations with Toby that forms your opinion of him. Is what he’s posted distasteful? That’s up to the reader to decide, I’ve seen people say offence is taken not given a lot in recent years, then often mocking the offended. I’m not saying whether I think that’s right or not, just pointing out something I see from free speech advocates. My issue here is, like I mentioned, there are whole threads on this award winning forum pretty much dedicated to trivialising, mocking and point scoring off the deaths of people and then regular contributors to those threads are here trying to take the moral high ground, it just doesn’t wash, it feels like point scoring and division, which is all over the place this morning, including Trumps comments.
