Amazing that Brexiteers have scaled back their expectations so much. The sunlit uplands that were just over the horizon seem to gave receded into the far distance. I wonder why this wasn't flagged up earlier, such as before the referendum. The strategy now seems to be to claim that the benefits are going to come so far down the line that everyone forgets the original claims, or are dead.

 

As Project Fear becomes Project ****show, the architects of this disaster claim they never expected to work straight away, and, er, it’s all the fault of the French.

That bit is very wrong, it has infact help wages rise for some sectors due to companies employing cheap labour from the EU.

I've no idea, but I'm generally of the view that how likely is it that a new account would stumble onto GC in 2019, I think it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume they probably previously had another account, so more an observation on how things seem to tick around here, nothing more, nothing less.

So Einstein... how many people in the UK are now better off than they were pre-Brexit? ... short answer is that if the majority of your household income comes from employment, then very few ... raging inflation, huge hike in interest rates, huge hike in utility prices, higest taxation rises for a decade and pay freezes across many sectors ... meanwhile billions spunked on track and trace ... now why isn't there an investigation into where that all went ... let's start with looking at Dildo Harding's remuneration for overseeing that debacle ... I wonder how many multiples of a UK annual salary that was?
