Toby thinks Starmer acting like an evil Toaree is another in a long line of 'coincidences' but here we see the plan for humanity laid bare.

Thanks me later lads and lezzers x

Why Hull and East Yorkshire was not included in Rachel Reeves' £15bn transport funding

The Hull Daily Fail have managed to put two and two together and get three: The new “Hull and East Yorkshire” Mayoral Authority is getting nothing from Rachel from Accounts because it will come in the Spending Review. <laugh>

    Rubbish.

The reason that “Hull and East Yorkshire”, “Greater Lincolnshire” and “York and North Yorkshire” got no funding was because the transport funding announcement was just a re-heating of the funding plan announced by the Tories – back in 2024 none of those three Mayoral Authorities existed.

As two of those new Mayoral Authorities are run by Reform mayors, how generous will Rachel from Accounts be in the Spending Review given that the black hole is already too deep for her to get out?

News that Wise is delisting from the London Stock Exchange and moving to New York is a body blow to Reeves’ securonomics agenda and promises to re-boost the financial industry. It is not the only one…

Alongside today’s news there have been a high number of missed IPOs under Labour. Guido has totted them up for co-conspirators:

    • Wise, relocating to New York 5 June 2025. Value: £11.4 billion.
    • Cobalt, cancelled 4 June 2025. Value: £170 million.
    • Shein, relocated 28 May 2025. Value: £36.8 billion.
    • Ebury, postponed 17 April 2025. Value: £2 billion.
    • Verisure, disappeared 10 March 2025. Value: £16.8 billion.
    • Unilever Ice Cream, relocated (Amsterdam) 13 February 2025. Value: £37.8 billion
    • Klarna, relocated (New York) 13 November 2024. Value: £4.9 billion.
    • Revolut, favouring New York 15 December 2024. Value: £33.4 billion.
    TOTAL VALUE LOST: £143.27 billion

That’s around 5% of the London Stock Exchange’s total value. That’s a lot of black holes…

I don't know the context, but I'm guessing it's not the queue for the job centre.

With the Communists in charge, nobody British wants to invest in anything based in Britain but foreigners will snap up what they see as bargains.

Food delivery network Deliveroo, floated on the London Stock Exchange in 2021, was taken over by US corporate DoorDash a month ago for just £2.9bn. Shareholders on the LSE got around £1.80 a share from the deal that took Deliveroo private.

Not surprisingly, Deliveroo failed to attract investment in London (IPO valuation fell by a quarter on the first day trading) as it only made a first ever profit last year of just £12m on turnover of over £2bn, operating in nine different countries. With no working capital left they were forced to seek a buyer.

So next time one of those illegal immigrants shows up at your door with a blue box on their back, the profit will be going to the USA. <laugh>
