I think you missed the original point, which neither Truss or Sunak should be up for a leadership contest, it was clearly a stitch up job on Boris, as I've said a couple of times now, for all his faults and the many things he should have gone for, he was eventually evicted because one of his MPs couldn't keep his hands to himself, why did that happen, because someone obviously gave Rishi the nod.

It could have been something else, maybe it was the last straw in a very big bale.

Putting a Russian in the house of lords, is probably the worst thing he did for me. Disgusting behaviour.

But would Tubs have been stitched had he not been an incompetent liar? IMO Rishi would be a better PM, Truss probably a worse one, simply because she won't be able to perform. All she can do is to ape Thatch.

Just a thank you from Boris for the intelligence info the Russian passed over in private meetings.

Nah I don't believe in all this last straw stuff, it's too convenient, something else occured in that last week, Boris is a gulliable shhite, even Gove screwed him over some years back, not to mention Cummings of recent times. Trouble is with Boris he wants to please everyone, then when it goes wrong, he lies, because it's all he knows with his kind of loyalty. Trouble is he employs snakes, so at some point they are going to bite him, and I can think of at least three occassions that has happened.

I just don't get how Boris didn't suss him, just looking at the twat you can see he's a creepy little fooker. Personally the guy needs a good slapping and told to keep his mouth shut in future, but we're not allowed to do that these days.

Yes Rishi would be a better PM than Boris (and Truss), but not as giving. The reason I'd stick Truss in there is because my first job would be to reinstall Sunak back as Chancellor, with a future option of being PM, but in the meantime he's told what to do rather than being the top man running the shop.

Just saying what I would do btw, not to say I'm right, because I rarely am.

You're happy that the foreign secretary of this country, without his aides, meets an ex KGB officer, in another country?

He consistently tried to cover it up and the truth had to be dragged out of him, at an official enquiry.

Is Johnson held to account? No, he ends up as PM.

Were the Russians happy that a KGB officer met a UK government official in private?
Of course Boris tried to cover it up, he didn't want the poor guy putting on Putins hit list <doh>

The problem is, I think, the people best qualified to run the country don't go into politics. They are too busy being successful

If your scenario was true, then they both are traitors to their respective countries.
