I smoked for thirty-three years, twenty of which I was on forty a day. I gave up ten weeks ago and did it cold turkey (those vape things are disgusting). I miss the smokes terribly, yet it was give up or lose my legs, which I didn't fancy I read somewhere that smokers pay three times more in tax than it costs the NHS to treat smoking-related illnesses and diseases. It may have been bollocks, but I'd like to know the true figures.
