There's a couple of quality chip shops & I always get cod & chips at the beach .

Funny you should say that. I read an article recently about long lost food establishments.

Little Chef shut down in 2018, I think it was.

Many a happy stop made there in the 80's.

 

My parents were too poor to go in , so we would park in the Happy Eater car park & just steal the complimentary sweets displayed in a plastic basket in the vestibule
