"yes, but leaving the EU gave us the confidence to develop our own vaccine". "But you said we couldn't have done it - we clearly could have?". "But had we stayed in the EU we couldn't have done it because we wouldn't have had the belief to do it ourselves"..... I left school in 1968. I think that the structure then was that you stayed on to do O levels fir one year. Then if you stayed another it was the upper fifth rather than sixth. So by extension the first year you stayed was the lower fifth.
