Matt Jukes served as Borough Commander in Rotherham from 2006-2010, which coincided with a peak in child sexual exploitation by Pakistani grooming gangs. Jukes faced significant criticism for his mishandling over the issue, which remains ongoing. He was accused of not giving priority to cases of child sexual exploitation, failing to act on known reports of abuse, and providing inadequate support to victims, often viewing them with contempt. Moreover, he has been criticized for hesitancy due to concerns about racial sensitivities, alongside a lack of resources and accountability. Curious, then, that Jukes would want to go after Elon Musk over a case in which he is directly implicated.

still doesnt justify paying to burn it

we have more electricity than we need, and half a billion of tax must be paid to account for it

if it wasnt blatant criminality it would be beyond ******ed, if greggs bake 50m sausage rolls a day and scottish people only buy 40m of them, they dont get paid for the 10m waste, its their problem, be more efficient if you care

Ineptitude . As you say , it’s ******ed / backwards.

No investment in infrastructure to cope with renewable energy but invest in ‘stopping’ renewables from producing !

The system isnt set up to succeed . It’s set up to line the pockets of chinless wonders and their friends .

Now, these spare sausage rolls … where ?

Central banks, so in our case the Bank of England. It all started back in 1971 when Richard Nixon ending the gold standard on the US dollar. As the banker J P Morgan said: “Gold is money, everything else is credit”.

Since then the spending power of the US dollar and the UK pound has declined by more than 90 per cent as the banks have simply printed more money when it is required and profligate politicians have spent that money without any regard to when some of that debt is going to be repaid. Back in the 1980s, the Japanese tried Quantitative Easing (Q.E.) and the huge influx of free money left them with a stagnant economy. After Gordon Brown bankrupted the country in 2008, the Bank of England did some Q.E. and look where that has left us.

It has all been going really well in Cuba and Venezuela for decades. That is why there are so many people of Cuban descent living in Florida and millions of Venezuelans have fled their wealthy paradise for neighbouring Colombia.

Capitalism has produced almost all of the benefits that surround you and allows the best to be successful and the worst to fail and possibly try again. Socialism just drags everyone down to the lowest common denominator level so that the worst do not feel bad about their situation because everyone else is in the same place.
