The facts appear to indicate that in six months they have already become worse than the Tories. Nobody wants gilts unless they are paying 5% and Rachel from Accounts is going to have to find money from somewhere to pay the interest on the billions of debt that she added to the National Debt in her disastrous Budget. Today the 10 year gilt is trading at 4.84%, the 20 year gilt is 5.16% and the 30 year gilt is 5.24%. When your private pension fund and your bank are in trouble it won’t be the Tories to blame...
That would be a very bad idea. The value of your money is falling with every passing day due to inflation and deliberate devaluation of the currency. A sensible person would go out and spend the money while it still has some value or use it to buy gold, which cannot be devalued because the Bank of England cannot print more of it.
Who is deliberately devaluing our currency? I'm not really up on fiscal matters. I spend, spend, spend and give plenty to charity, expecting my accountant to tell me I'm broke, but then more money lands in my bin.
