In the past, I've managed to drill the lefties down to actually expressing an opinion on various topics, and each time they've got upset to find that we're all pretty much in agreement on the fundamentals. For fun, I occasionally post their messages from the past as if they're my own, and they argue against them. That to me shows that they are fixated on their fantasy version of personalities rather than facts, and will defend anyone they feel would wear a red rosette, and would rarely if ever agree with someone they themselves have assigned a blue label to.
Even tolerant non racist lefties like me generally agree that too much unchecked immigration is a bad thing. Mostly because a pool of cheap labour puts downward pressure on wages. I don’t freak out every time I see a brown person walking into the Post Office though; only ****ing idiots do that. On a related note, I’ve noticed that when you see a group of school kids in places like Tottenham nowadays, there are more white kids among them than a few years ago. Mostly from hardworking (Christian) Polish families, I’d imagine; there’ll be less of them in future, since the spanners voted for Brexit.

I think it's a good measurement for how the country is doing. If people want to be here and are willing to swim to get here it's suggests we shouldn't have too much to complain about I'll still ****ing complain though
