Even the government’s own analysis admits the bill will saddle businesses with an initial £5 billion in extra costs. Some insurance company tried to put mine up by about £200, then I remembered I had a Topcashback account - went through there, got it cheaper than the previous year and cashback after the qualifying period, although I exchanged mine into vouchers because they pay you more for some conversions, which I got.
