Every ****ing thing they touch. <doh>

Labour’s Employment Rights Bill has already bombed with businesses and workers alike. Even the government’s own analysis admits the bill will saddle businesses with an initial £5 billion in extra costs. Their plan to “make work pay” is looking like a plan to make workers pay…

A new impact assessment by the Regulatory Policy Committee, which provides state-funded independent oversight of regulatory proposals, has now declared the evidence presented for the entire bill “not fit for purpose.”

Some insurance company tried to put mine up by about £200, then I remembered I had a Topcashback account - went through there, got it cheaper than the previous year and cashback after the qualifying period, although I exchanged mine into vouchers because they pay you more for some conversions, which I got.

Which way will Labour go? I can see Milei having a thought on it.

I like Bexhill. A decent little town. The Pavilion is a fine concert venue. And there's an excellent chippy on the front. It always seems to rain when I'm there, though, whereas the sun always shines in Rye.

Larry Fink, the CEO of BlackRock, received a total compensation of $26.9 million in 2023, which was an 18% decrease from his 2022 total compensation of $32.7 million. Fink's compensation breakdown for 2023 was:
    Base salary: $1.5 million
    Bonus: $7.9 million
    Stock awards: $16.4 million
    Other compensation: $1 million

He probably bought Sir Starmer some trousers in return for raping our country financially

I'm the opposite, didn't bother voting in the election because both parties are dog ****.

Gave Labour a chance & now pleasantly surprised how well Starmer has got off , like many of us doubting Thomas's.
