Wow thought this was already in place. Agree the **** out of this, might not be advisable in the workplace though.
As a devoted Mohammedan I find this offensive and all animals should not be stunned as it may hurt my sky pixies feelings. My MP is a cock

Russia invaded Ukraine buddy. They have the moral low ground. They might have been provoked according to thier security concerns which is debatable but i mostly disagree with you when you're wrong about things.
You don't get a choice you moron, your pension provider will have a portfolio of investments which is governed primarily by the regulator. This will of course include high risk / higher returns, along with investments in blue chip companies which have lower risk / lower returns. If you have a good pension provider he will allow you to choose, as a percentage, which of these funds you wish to invest in, but that’s it. You should really quit fella as the hole you’re digging for yourself is likely to collapse.
I have to agree it seems like a strange hill to die on, with regards to the winter fuel allowance. Those who are on pension credits will still get it and tbh most other pensioners don’t need it. It was handled extremely poorly. Whether we like it or not, we do need to raise tax revenue and I do think NI was a relatively pain free way for most. Of course business will complain but most can cover the increase.
Winter allowance should have been tapered than a sharp cut off, raising NI will just stop new jobs and hit us all on increased prices.
I personally would have left it in place as the administration required to decide who gets it and who doesn’t will likely eat up most of the savings it’s designed to make. NI, we will have to agree to disagree as I don’t think it will make any difference to prices or employment, Most of the consumer companies have introduced several price increases to there products over the last few years, based firstly on energy prices and then inflation, and it hasn’t had any real impact on what we do and don’t buy. If anything it will be used as an excuse not to lower prices now inflation looks better.
