On a serious note, dont you think on some of Labours policies are a bit low, such as removing winter allowance for most oldies and raising NI on business not by a little but quite a bit?

Even Tory scum were not that bad

    Public money infrastructure =
Massive cost over-runs bailed out with more public money and no return on investment.
Great work for private sector contractors with a built-in profit and no fixed deadline.

Millennium Dome – cost £789m, inc. £603m of Lottery Grants (£204m over estimate of £399m).
HS2 – Phase 1 original estimate £44.6bn; current cost estimate £66.6bn, still not complete.
Elizabeth Line – original estimate £14.8bn; actual cost £18.9bn, four years late.

Only a total mug or an ideological dimwit would put their pension fund money onto any public sector project, run by cretins from the Establishment to line the pockets of their mates at the expense of the plebs.

Why are most private sector pension funds invested in hardly anything in this country?

Toronto is a boring city; however, the surrounding areas are spellbindingly beautiful. Just make sure you wear a hat in the colder months, as it is not unusual for people's ears to freeze and drop off.

If you want a vibrant Canadian city, do Vancouver.
