I switched to GB News last night to watch Headliners at 11pm only to find that it had been scrapped for an hour long news coverage of Liam Payne having fallen three floors to his death from a hotel in Buenos Aires. The same reel of old footage was being shown in a loop while some blonde showbiz bird on a train answered inane questions from the studio followed by live pictures from outside the hotel in Argentina. Thank goodness for the mute button after five minutes. Just as well it was not somebody that I had heard of or they would have stayed on all night. Imagine if it had been Cliff Richard or Mick Jagger. Bad news for people that watch the 5am repeat – they might as well stay in bed for an hour. Was he that fed up of Sir Keith Stalin that he had a load of booze and drugs before taking the short route to the hotel patio? Was there going to be a tax on talentless boy bands in the Budget? Or had he just fallen out with his latest squeeze?
Fecking October and someone has brought that up. I bet you watch “Great! Christmas” on Freeview – that started in September...
