Yvette Cooper sparks Labour split as she tells Starmer to snub Brussels demands A significant proportion of the Labour Party is firmly pro-EU, including the prominent mayors of London, Sadiq Khan, and Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, adding pressure on the PM. However, the main opposition to the EU's plans has come from the Home Secretary, Yvette Cooper, according to Politico. Ms Cooper could spark a huge Labour Party split, as she suggests that the scheme would send the wrong signal over migration. There is growing frustration in Brussels that Labour has "no plan" for the EU despite pledging a reset in relations. Mujtaba Rahman, the managing director for Europe at the Eurasia Group, said: “I’ve been taken aback by how frustrated both sides are actually. There’s a sense on the European side that Labour raised expectations in opposition. "They’ve got a stonking majority and yet the government’s rhetoric on Europe seems very unambitious. "There’s a real sense there is no plan. "Senior officials on the European side are asking, what does Labour actually want to do? "The suspicion is that the principals in the cabinet – Starmer, Cooper, Reeves, Thomas-Symonds – aren’t aligned.”
I really am not seeing the problem with that. She stated it was an old mate - the company in question is Ayita LLC and they are the agents for DJ Fisher, her friend. So she gained access to an event through her friend but she has to attach a value to that for declaration purposes, as I said I'm not seeing the problem because all it means is an old friend let her in the door for nowt, that's what friends do, don't they?
Pointing out that the other lot were feeding in the trough too isn't quite the 'win' they hope it is, especially with keef's election promises on sleaze.
They're all ****ing at it, all parties and basically "**** you working class plebs". Like it and lump it. Lefty Loonies can't see it though because they are either ****ing thick or refuse to see it as they are blinded. ****ing stupid ****ers
Labour subterfuge don't look here look over there, If they have had noses in the trough, they need outing that's why the Tories are out of office. But for Starmers lot to plead it's the done thing, **** you, Saint Starmer has now coughed a fraction of what he has scammed, now the others need to cough up as well, until the accusations stop and resignations are forthcoming
What is it with loony leftie obsession with Tommy Robinson? I virtually never see him mentioned anywhere but on this thread, he's insignificant and about as useful as any poster on here. There is something deeply wrong in the minds of lefties, needless fear of monsters would be my guess.
They are trying to push a narrative that Tommy is gay. But they do that because they have no defence for Two-Tier, Free-Gear, Maybe-Queer Keir. Between the two, I know who I would pick. Every time they persecute him they bring in thousands more to join the cause, he is a patriot fighting against the injustice placed upon the British public, by a parliament with vested interest in crushing all opposition, except one, and we have all seen the two tier examples of how that works
It's the fear bit that gets me, if he was leader of a strong opposition i could understand it but in a political sence he's pretty annonimouse and as much threat as count bin face yet they hang on every bit of news about him. I like him for pushing the grooming gangs case when others found it easier to ignore (and less politically threatening) but beyond that he has very little to threaten the status quo parties.
