No, that's as maybe but just deal with facts. If he broke a rule then he must answer questions, if he didn't then he needn't.

 

I agree in principle, however I do think the context is important, because of the messages he pushed to get himself as leader and then when running for election.

His answers so far have been shown to be untruthful, which all combined show him to be deceitful and dishonest and ended up revealing even more sleaze. That shows him to be a poor politician.

They're not uncommon traits in politicians, but he did put himself on a pedestal over those very issues, so needed to be beyond reproach.

His responses have also revealed the man's arrogance and contempt for anyone with differing views, and shown him to be out of touch with the electorate, and even with his own party.
