I may be slightly deranged in saying this, but I quite like Ed Davey. He seems pleasant enough.

You will all be excited to learn that soon I'll be bringing back my much-loved thread My Ten Favourite GCers.

It's going to be something else, folks. Let's just say there will be a few surprises, a flow of tears and much joy.

You can rersolve any dispute within hours if you cave in to demands <ok>

£20bl black hole, take £3oo off pensioners so they freeze in winter. Give the unions whatever they ask because their poor workers are on peanuts (and they back us).

Rawand has been cancelled (at a large cost) and we are now looking to copy Italy at another large cost so where is the difference?
The Doctors i agree need proper payment but the rail workers are scandalous, £10K rise for doing the sum of **** all and nothing to suggest they will do any more.

I don't get this point. Hundreds of millions made by rail companies, sitting in shareholders bank accounts and we give a little grumble but carry on paying regardless. The staff that actually do the work finally ask for a bit of it and THEN there's public outrage

    We are such subservient ****s
