Yup, ban smoking and the treasury doesn't get my voluntary £8 per day taxation (or whatever amount they take out of my daily £10.51)
Just imagine if the whole of the UK stopped smoking, drinking, driving (or forced to stop by whatever government is in charge at the time banning them) taxes for everyone would go through the roof and the NHS would still be overwhelmed with this country's obesity problem. The government would have to bring in a fatty food/processed food tax.
