Whichever way you look at it, there are lots of migrants living in social housing. I've got no issue with housing genuine refugees. As for the rest, shouldn't they have sorted accommodation before arriving here? It seems a bit daft to import people who will need bed and board on arrival, especially during a chronic housing shortage. Just saying.
No one is 'importing people' that require housing on arrival. You don't get automatic housing in a visa, you get pretty much **** all. Asylum seekers may be in with a shot, but only if in desperate need.

But there are many migrants living in social housing. That's a fact. How did they get the housing in the first place? Someone is allowing these people to claim housing and benefits. To me, that is pointless immigration and makes a mockery of the efforts of migrants who do everything the right way.

It must be pretty easy, seeing as 700,000-odd moved here last year. They were not all refugees, and many will be in, or waiting for, social housing. There must be a loophole.
