Presumably the Remainers unhappy with a 52% win on a 72% turnout in 2016 will be up in arms about the Government being appointed with a 33% win on a 59% turnout?

Besides which, the same Tory client commentators and journalists wailing about FPTP today are the ones who told us that Johnson winning an 80+ seat majority with 43% of the vote in 2019 was a triumph for democracy and the will of the people to "Get Brexit done, despite 52% of votes cast in that election going to parties that offered a 2nd referendum as well.
I reckon people like Khan and Burnham will be sat poised like vultures, ready to jump in at the first opportunity.
