You’ll definitely vote for them <ok>

Will be difficult for @HRH Custard VC tondo so now that the cat is out of the bag on Farage’s views in Ukraine.

Somewhat ironically, I actually agree with some of what the gurning grifter says about the roots of the Ukraine- Russia conflict. The difference is, I’m not Putin’s bitch.

What makes you so sure I'll even vote? Around here, at the nationals the predictions are that it's 98% + certain Labour will get in and I love living round here.

You back the rail unions, despite rail travel still being expensive, unreliable and generally ****e and they disagree with Labour on several key issues, so which box will get your cross?. Little wonder you prefer to try piss poor assumptions and ad hominem in place of making clear exactly what it is you reckon you're voting for.

JK Rowling has criticised Labour for "abandoning" women over its stance on the rights of transgender people.

Writing in the Times, external, the Harry Potter author said she would struggle to vote for Sir Keir Starmer, saying she had a "poor opinion" of his character.

The former Labour donor accused the party under Sir Keir's leadership of a “dismissive and often offensive” approach to women's concerns.

Labour said it was "the party of women’s equality, with a manifesto that puts women front and centre".

Rowling's comments come after Sir Keir appeared to shift his position on transgender rights in Thursday's BBC Question Time election special.

Last year, the Labour leader said "99.9% of women" do not have a penis and in 2021 stated it was "not right" for Labour MP Rosie Duffield to say that "only women have a cervix".

On Thursday night, he said he agreed with former Labour leader Sir Tony Blair's position on the issue, saying "biologically, a woman is with a vagina and a man is with a penis".

Asked about his previous comments on Ms Duffield, he said the debate at the time had become “very toxic, very divided, very hard line”.

In her Times article, Rowling said: "The impression given by Starmer at Thursday's debate was that there had been something unkind, something toxic, something hard line in Rosie's words, even though almost identical words had sounded perfectly reasonable when spoken by Tony Blair."

She added: "For left-leaning women like us this isn't, and never has been, about trans people enjoying the rights of every other citizen and being free to present and identify however they wish.

"This is about the right of women and girls to assert their boundaries. It's about freedom of speech and observable truth."

Anyone care to list the attributes they reckon Starmer has that will make him an effective leader of the Country?

Well, he is the son of a toolmaker if that counts as an attribute. Dame Beer Korma certainly seems to think so :emoticon-0136-giggl

Given he has pretty much no chance of becoming the opposition party never mind forming the government, why does he terrify you so much, and why are you so afraid to say what it is you think keith will bring to the table?

I’m a Labour Party member mate, and an RMT member, so of course I support both. Because imo they both represent my best interests, in the workplace and in general.

So you're backing the policies that have ensured that the rail service is in dire straits, and the party that are ****ing up Wales, simply because you always have.

This Labour can't possibly represent the Labour you signed up for. Blind loyalty like yours is simply foolish.

    Obviously not, no.

I’m opposed to the current franchise system which has made such a pig’s ear of running the railway network, and looking forward to seeing the train companies coming back into public ownership, as outlined in the Labour manifesto.

I'm in favour of nationalisation of transport and key utilities. Where I struggle is believing that they'll do it in the right way. I look at the mess they've made of what is the biggest nationalised institution, the NHS, and they've made an absolute pigs ear by having too many expensive departments that offer no meaningful contribution to the core function of health. Many of those could be described as left leaning positions.

Once you find out the US CIA overthrew Ukraines elected leader in 2014 & installed a Jewish TV comedian then the Ukraine Russia conflict makes more sense.

As a result most of the World see USA/NATO as a Global bully & have formed an allegiance non reliant on the petrodollar Fiat currency & the US protection racket.

Saudi ditching the dollar has ended US as well as their own suicidal immigration disaster & ******ed ending of their own oil & gas production.

It's interesting to see how much the left support death, destruction and rape.

Where are the peace talks or military solutions coming from?
