Have a look at events and national initiatives across the globe, and see how many are so, so similar despite being put forward by supposedly differing political parties. Now think how relevant the colour of their rosette is. Oh, and anyone thinking the system doesn't know how to neuter an independent is really out of touch. How many of the changes we see are a consequence of pressure groups that don't have a party in power, such as BLM, Climate lobbies etc etc?
