This is true if you don’t use the NHS, have no kids or grandkids in school, don’t mind tripping over homeless people in the street, are happy to swim in **** and be ripped off for gas and electricity, and have no intention of ever retiring. The train drivers are indeed ASLEF not RMT, but that union is run by another Communist, Mick Whelan, co-ordinating strike action with the other Communist so that they can stop trains running twice as often. I think that you will find that there is outrage at money being poured into rail companies. Why should everyone’s taxes be wasted on subsidising trains that many of them do not use? Drop the subsidies and make the train users pay the proper fares if the companies want to pay out big dividends rather than taxpayer subsidy being used to pay out big dividends. Put Whelan and Lynch in charge of the railways – they can pay their union members what they like but only until everyone stops using the trains altogether and all their union members are unemployed.
