The stupidity of the modern British Legal System today. Some people go on social media and call somebody a “racist”. That person does not resort to bringing a legal case for defamation but chooses to respond by calling the correspondents “*****philes”. The correspondents then bring a case for defamation and the judge rules in their favour and will not accept the quid pro quo defence. The victorious plaintiffs probably went out to celebrate with a couple of teenage boys.
I guess the obvious difference is there’s plenty to suggest the first person is a racist while there’s nothing to back up the “correspondents” being *****philes.
