They are officially here if they’re in the asylum system. If their claim is rejected and they then abscond then that’s a crime which should be dealt with and they won’t be working legally. If someone employs them illegally that’s again a crime. I suspect the authorities don’t have the resources to police it adequately if it’s as widespread a problem as you shockingly think.
