That's a fair post. I was trying to give a balanced response to his attack on the BoE. The drivers of inflation probably went in timeline order of - the effects of Covid (furlough debt & lockdowns affecting suppy/demand of goods), rise in fuel/energy prices due to Ukraina War, the shambles of Truss/Kwartang, and the added effect of Brexit on imports which imo made the situation worse. Maybe the delay in BoE in raising interest rates didn't help, but the main point is that it was not one thing and of those listed above there were some things that caused hyper inflation more than others, but the BoE was not one of those. It's ridiculous.
