Clearly you are one of the many on here that are genuinely mental. Do you have access to the Bar records that show who declines cases because of conflicts of interest, the specific case not being in their area of competence or because of unavailability? Neither do I. Those three gentlemen of the Bar probably never went and trawled the records from 2008 before sending their letter so just made a generalisation about Counsel not being able to pick and choose. It was a nice little earner as it spent ten years in the system before getting dismissed and some office lackey could have dealt with the paperwork. Working class Starmer continues to demonstrate how little he is working class. He went to a grammar school – a form of selective education for the smartest that his party and the Left generally despise. Having got to the top of his profession he then lined his pockets with millions of taxpayers’ money taking legal aid work. Now he has dropped the Sir and gone back to pretending to be the son of a lowly tool maker. Just as well his dad was not a carpenter or he would be walking on water. Rodney, what a plonker.
