For those uneducated or unwilling to look at the history... there is a big clue in the phrase 'occupied territories' ... Israel has forcibly land grabbed large tracts of Palestinian land against International Law ... unfortunately (for Palestinians) these areas are not particularly rich in oil, thereby prompting the world police (USA and allies) to feel the moral obligation to 'right the wrong' and send in the 'peace keepers' to expell the illegal occupiers ... suffice to say that there will be no resolution until / unless Israel pulls out of the illegally occupied areas ... but there will be increasing innocent civilian casualties on both sides until that happens - if it ever does - and it won't ...
Pretty much spot on. What people tend to ignore is the fact that certain people literally walked away from that land two thousand years ago whilst others stayed and cultivated and built on it, Then after a terrible injustice/crime certain people decided to take part of that land from the people who have lived there for centuries and give it to those who walked away from it, since then the people who walked away have decided they want more than they were given and the World doesn't seem to give a ****.
