Why this has popped into my head I have no idea, my mind goes off in tangents all the time. About 40 years go, there was few of us lads out for a drinkypooh or two and this guy when asked what he wanted said "whisky and pineapple juice" There were at least two of us in ****ing knots, "a whisky and what........................." Never heard that again since. What an amazing fun filled life I have truly led
Sounds rank. Malibu and pineapple, on the other hand, was very popular in the 80s, with young ladies of looser virtue iirc.
Gin & grapefruit juice sounds revolting but surprisingly delicious, Snoop Doggy Dog even did a song about it
It does, doesn't it although I'm tempted to try it once just to see Malibu, ffs you still get that? What about this...................... please log in to view this image
I had a couple of Pernod's and coke with this young hotty at Belfast International Airport in 1822 before we ravaged each other on the tarmac....................no word of a lie, I tell you........................ please log in to view this image
Have a pint of Scrumpy, drink a bit until you have enough room to top up with a cherryB and I swear this is true, it will taste just like lemonade.
Do these people really look like they're fit, prepared and equipped for a 3,000+mile walk to start a new life?
Oooof, they really didn't know what they were voting for. Andrew Bailey, the Governor of the Bank of England, has left EU Rejoiners in shock after he told a magazine that Brexit has given the UK opportunities. In an even more surprising move, Bailey, who was a Remainer, admitted that the Project Fear "dire warnings" about Brexit which the Bank of England and other institutions made during the referendum were wrong. The interview was given to pro-EU magazine Prospect which has opposed Brexit and carried articles making the case for Rejoining the bloc. Bailey has become the latest top figure to have to conceded that Brexit is proving to be a success despite attempts to claim otherwise.
