I was thinking power in a different way when I read that, and that is the more sinister side of all this, which is all vehicles being monitored and digitally time stamped on location, date and time. We seem to have just accepted having a surveillance state, I would say that I'm suprised any Labour voter supports that, but I suppose it is what communists do, so I shouldn't be that surprised of a far-left economical ideology and to the extremes of authoritarian controls. Good luck to those ripping down the cameras, my advice would be don't stop at just them, pull down our whole survelliance system in this country which isn't doing what it was supposed to be doing, stopping crime, instead it's being invested in to become a cash collector.

The Met Police have been handed thousands of fines for breaking Low Traffic Neighbourhood (LTN) rules when they have been rushing to emergencies.

London councils have tripled the number of tickets issued to the police force since the scheme was established during the pandemic.

The Met Police received almost 20,000 fines last year, a Freedom of Information (FOI) revealed.

Police officers can apply to have their LTN fines reimbursed but this is a lengthy process, taking up to 25 minutes per case.

If every case was challenged it would take the Met a combined total of over 12,000 hours of police time in applying for the fine reversal since 2020.
