United went home crying at halftime after goals from Keita, Jota, and a hattrick from Salah. Chortle.
What’s The Difference Between Jack Monroe Suggesting Budget Recipes, And A Tory MP? – COOKING ON A BOOTSTRAP Well said, the brilliant Jack Monroe - an angel in our midst.
Does Saturday count as a “working day” in your book? You six-toed East Anglian yokels probably work seven days a week. As your post was yesterday, should I wait until Tuesday or Wednesday?
Socialist Sunak is performing a bit of a no brainer on the “cost of living crisis”. Perhaps I should rearrange those words to the effect that socialists have no brains. If they ditched the VAT on fuel bills – something that was a Brexit commitment in the Tory manifesto in 2019 – it would only knock 5 per cent off the fuel bills; but he can afford to do it as the tax take recently has exceeded forecasts (no surprise as the OBR forecasts are useless). If they took all the green levies off fuel bills and just put them into general taxation that would reduce people’s fuel bills by almost a quarter; and of course the Official Raving Loony Party would not object because their plan is a permanent windfall tax on the energy providers (money that they have spent five or six times over in previous manifestos) that would result in no investment in British energy independence.
Peter Stefanovic expressing his usual standard of ignoring the facts that do not suit his latest CWU “I hate the Tories” rant. When David Frost renegotiated the Maybot Deal, he accepted the NI Protocol as a replacement for the unworkable “backstop” that the EU had proposed, knowing that it was imperfect and would need to be reworked. The EU are refusing to rework it, so, therefore, we will have to scrap it. We can scrap it quite legally as it impinges on the Good Friday Agreement. If the EU decide to start a trade war, the biggest loser will be the Irish Republic. Contrary to the popular myth being circulated Sinn Féin does not have a majority after recent NI elections. It is just the biggest single party. Unionist parties collectively still hold the majority of seats; not Republicans.
@SuzCrimi must be a Civil Servant, working from home (or leeching off the taxpayer as it would be more accurately described).
Seeing as he's your pet Spam Champion and thread terminator. Why doesn't he just PM you the pages of Twitter opinions directly?
