To me, a lap-top is as important as a phone, so mine's always with me. Contributing to F1 forums anonymously is better than using Twitter for the same purpose, so no doubt I'll make my standard, random appearance.
There was GP3, GP2 and Porsche SuperCup last year, don't know if there will be anymore though. The racing in GP2 and GP3 is just as good, if not better, than F1! It's a bit like Moto2 and Moto3 in comparison to MotoGP. The younger drivers try to pull ridiculous overtakes on each other, but it's great to watch Oh, and I sat at the Wellington straight last year. You can see Luffield and there's a big screen behind you, so it's a pretty good spot, though get there fairly early!
Apparently its going to rain which is a shame, I want to see an F1 cars capabilities, which we won't do If its raining. They will also sit in the garage through practice.
Well I suppose silver sees them in the dry most weekends being a red-bull mechanic and Cosicave actually drives them all year so he knows better than anyone
Hahaha… You mean the current cars? Hmm… Nice idea… I hope you have fun Sea-Man. You are most likely right about the weather; but it could make for some very interesting racing, so do not be down-hearted. You'll still see them at the limit of what can be done by a four-wheeled machine competing with the elements of nature, regardless of actual conditions, save that of thunderstorms and torrential rain. Additionally, for the discerning spectator, you will be more able to make out differences between drivers and cars.
I want to see driver skill, so I love wet races, it's the great leveller. Senna & Bellof Monaco 84 springs to mind.
I feel like apologising for the weather. Especially for all the fans that have made such an effort and at such an expense in thess cash-strapped times. Perhaps it's because there are several from this forum and I feel I 'know' them a bit more but it really is a shame that the FIA rules make wet running an almost pointless exercise, since teams need to conserve tyres for the race. Something should be done about these situations which take little or no notice of the many thousands who make such a sacrifice to follow their passion. It should not be like this. I'm sorry. However, it should be a very interesting race… –For all attendees: stick it out: it'll be worth it in the end!
