Well I did say that I couldn't justify my opinion

But yes darts and snooker are sports, saying you have to be at a high level of fitness and physical trading can't be the rule of thumb or otherwise cricket wouldn't be a sport...or golf...or rugby league

Anyway I still don't think anything can be a sport if it requires a motor. I might make an exception if the motor vehicle was exactly the same for every competitor, maybe with some type of lottery to see which one you drove/rode. At least that way these finely honed athletes ( who sit down for their entire sporting career) are having their skills tested, like darts, rather than having the skills of the engineering team tested instead

Although sitting down is fine for sportspeople...because poker is also a sport

I'm assuming you're bored and fishing for a bit of banter here, some of the things you are saying are just a little outrageous!

    It's another sport ;)

I'm only partly joking ( I thought it was quite obvious that I wasn't being entirely serious!)

But I don't find motor 'sports' remotely interesting

I find F12 & most 4 wheeled motorsport boring too, however I defy anyone who has been near the Isle Of Man TT not interesting

I'd love to see you try to compete in a gym alongside a cricket player or RL player as they would wipe the floor with you

Golf isn't a sport.....it's just a good way to spoil a nice walk

Snooker & Darts are not sports, they are pub games....no more sports than dominoes or cards (including Poker)

To be considered a sport to me the competitor must have an exceptional level of physical fitness & the event must require physical exertion

This is what a lot don't get (Not you).
You CAN'T drive around at 40MPH as you would go off the track at the first corner.

The Tyres and brakes don't work at all if they are cold. You HAVE to drive like your hair in on fire all the time just to make the car work. There was a piece on top gear a while ago and one of them stood where the braking zone started and it looked impossible for a car to brake and make the corner but that is where they HAVE to brake (Give or take 1-2 yards) or the tyres temps drop off.

Jenson Button does triathlon in his spare time.

Brembo state that around 105 Kg's of pressure (On one leg) is needed on the brake pedal to stop a F1 car. That may not sound a lot but try doing that around 500 times in a race and it's going to become hard to do. Then there is sometimes over 5G's of pressure trying to pull your head off in the corners. F1 drivers like other sportsmen/women need to be insanely fit.

Golf can be quite physically exerting...particularly if it's sunny
