I like Gorillaz, but Wolf Alice and Royal Blood have been way better this year.

Humanz was Gorillaz worst album yet IMO.

Edit: Damon Albarn is definitely pissed <laugh>

Agreed Royal Blood superb year and quality quality music.

Having actually met Albarn I can honestly say such a bigger cnut I have yet to meet. Total and utter waste of oxygen

Stormzy winning best album isn't a surprise IMO, grime is ****ing huge atm with my generation.

Not a massive fan of his music, but Stormzy himself has always come across as a great bloke.

Did Tony Orlando win owt?

Years ago Tony Orlando was doing a concert in Liverpool. He started singing Halfway To Paradise and the audience started booing. They thought this was an insult to Billy Fury, singing "his" song. Scousers have always been clueless.

Shut up you silly old twat.

Kenny Rogers is more your bag, either him or Johnny Mathis.

Slightly older my ring.
They ****ing well ain’t.

It’ll be a cold day in hell before I stop listening to Radio 1.

UK Grime artists like Stormzy are a modern version of the type of punk I liked back in the day, and early street based rap. Socially aware and with a message as well as delivered with feeling. ****ing great.

You should check out Charlie Sloth in the evenings. Brilliant radio.
