I think the next round is between two away trips to the southwest. So inevitably, away somewhere in the northeast.

 

Or perhaps the northwest, like Blackburn or Burnley perhaps.

 

Gutted that we are going to lose Sarge for such a long period, he feels vital to the way we set up and press from the front. Idah could replace his goals but not the work rate I don’t think

 

The one slight positive, versus years gone by, is I don’t think Sarge is as integral to our system as Pukki was. We are a more balanced and therefore I think safer team without that reliance. I know it’s inevitable and happens to all but the most money-doped teams - eg maybe Sara is that role now. But injuries do happen. Fingers crossed this is the worst of them for the season.

 

Fulham away next round. Easier for me to get to than Carrow Road but never seen us do well there. I keep saying I won't go there again....but I almost certainly will!

 

Interestingly it looks like we should have been playing Man City in the next round. How has the EFL messed this up?
