Just back from Bristol. Excellent result and two cracking goals. We looked very good at times and soaked up the pressure when needed or thwarted their moves. Two scares, one when they hit a post and it trickled along the goal line, and another when it flashed wide of the post. We didn't create that many chances but took them brilliantly. Leon Legge was awesome in defence, Fish had his work cut out with the pacy winger, Barratt excellent also and started the move for the first goal with great composure by shrugging off several tackles. Whelpdale outstanding all over the pitch.
I see that Steve347 beat me home by an hour - can't add too much to what he said - except that Whelpdale's goal will win the away goal of the season - see it if you weren't with me and the other 471 Gills fans - it's a beauty.
