Its certainly time that Wyke was given the benefit from referees. He's been wrestled all over the place this season seems to get nothing
yet every challenge he makes seems to result in a free kick to the defender.
Mind you the absolutely crap standard of refereeing in this league has been a real eye opener

if barton tried to set these up as he did his previous team it will be a dominant first half from us, if we can grab a couple of goals as well they will struggle to get back into it imho, but he does tend to get his teams to 'save' themselves and up the tempo 2nd half...but then LJ can do wonders with his subs :D

I think Younger has done very well in the games he's played. I was surprised when he was hooked in the last game he started.

Of all of those I'm most pleased if their keeper, Jaakola, is out which I think he will be.

He's very confident, despite how poor Rovers are, and his two replacements wouldn't make a good keeper if they both played.

Any free kicks, corners, etc, need firing in at pace so we can pick up the fumbles.

( BTW 'picking up the fumbles' isn't West country slang for an STD.)

Goes back to the discussion about using all 18 players not just the starting 11.
    Different teams for different phases.
Must be great for the lads on the bench knowing they are there for a purpose and not just to make the numbers up

Dunno why but these little clips really focus your mind on the game.

I hope that ground inspires the players to get a win and see the back of places like that asap.

So pleased O'Brien is back, Wyke has been fading without him.

I enjoy watching all the behind the scenes stuff the club put out after the game as well. Power always seems to be communicating with people walking in at half time.

Scowen and Gooch need to be carrying the ball into their half as quickly and as often as possible.

At worst win some free kicks and corners to get AOB and Wyke some balls to attack.

McGeady didn't get enough service against Lincoln, needs the ball to do any damage.

I thought that's what teenagers did behind the bike sheds <laugh>

Think we'll win comfortably today. I hope AOB is back, as Wyke looks twice the player with him around, but I wouldn't risk any of the injured players, unless they are fully fit.

0-3 and a load of happy Sunderland faces at 5 O'clock.

Was hoping Stewart might get a run out with Wyke from the start

I’m fearful Barton will set them out to hurt some of our players. Got a bad feeling about today. Getting out of there injury free will suffice.
