Just calling it how I saw it, I thought we played a lot better on Saturday without the result

 

Okay after half time then better than okay after the changes.

 

We did. We play all season like we did last Saturday and we'll be sitting pretty when the fat lady sings.

 

That's football matey. You don't always get what you deserve but tonight we did. Just enjoy a 3-1 away victory because they don't come along that often.

 

I thought Wilks had one of those games that amply demonstrated why he's scuffing around at League 1 level. He's worth having in the team because if something drops to him in the penalty area it will probably go in, but outside the box he's often so predictable it's laughable, Get the ball wide right, cut in onto his left foot, get dispossessed, rinse and repeat. Smallwood was excellent again, he keeps things ticking over, particularly when it's all a bit frantic and Honeyman isn't getting on the ball.

 

You two talk amongst yourselves. the rest of us will carry on.

 

But he does get plenty of the ball and is always looking for it. I thought he was frustrating to watch tonight and he must be a nightmare to play alongside but he is always there and the opposition cannot leave him alone. Thought he put a shift in tonight. As did Smallwood who is looking like a very, very good astute signing.

 

He needs to learn to stay on his feet and not go down as easy

 

Very much enjoyed the result, and I thought we deserved to win. Just thought a lot of players were well below what we've been seeing, and that in the final 3rd in particular we were incredibly wasteful

KLP took his goal brilliantly well, he’s got that calmness in front of goal that all great strikers have, he’s going to be exceptionally good!

I thought on Saturday it was one his least effective games for us and looked has though he was needing a rest, however got to agree with you and I'm sure he will play in the majority of our games. If Wilks is on form on the right and KLP on the left we have plenty of goals in us.

 

Cant expect a 19 year old to play Saturday Tuesday Saturday week I week out and be at his best.

That's why we signed Meyer and Adelukan.
