Got to be said growing up in 70/80s was bliss girls used to be girls and dress and act like girls, most of the young girls today act like boys.

We had a fantastic time growing up,watching city was good, bad,or frustrating.

The trouble today nobody has any time for one another.

It seems bbc4 repeat often so you could put a search into your sky box and it will say when its on again plus the other 2 in the series. The guys on the suspension bridge were just ordinary electicians sliding down and walking along the sides, what a different world we now live in!

Brislington Nurses Home.. is that still there. I was a frequent visiter in the late 60's, until the warden got wise.
One of the nurses, I went out with- made a deal that if I went with her to the Old Vic to see 'The Master Builder', she would come to Ashton Gate with me to watch City. The play was really good, but the football- Bristol City lost- and I lost something else in my Thames van, in one of the streets near the ground.

Nursing allegiances were transfered to Frenchay in the 70's- but that is another epoch.
