I actually enjoyed the game. I thought the Rovers played some good football in the second half. In the first half City played possession football and Rovers allowed them too much time on the ball and defended too deep. Second half City were unable to deal with Rovers closing them down quickly. The major problem for Rovers was that they didn't continue to play their possession football when they approached the City penalty box. The final ball was too often not up to scratch in most cases. Anyway if the lads can improve little by little on that level of performance the future looks bright.
Sorry but there was no way you were the better team. We were dominate in the first half and you had the better of the 2nd, Fairly even game separated by quality. Apart from your goal our keeper didn't have to pull off a save to keep us in it. Im not going to come on here and say we dominated the whole game we should of hammered you blah blah blah, The truth is you were lucky to go in at HT only 1-0 down. We were lucky at 70 minutes not to have been losing but the most imporatant fact is. We put 2 in the back of the net, You didn't. We won, Now deal with it #JETWILLTEARYOUAPARTAGAIN
