I totally agree..However, it is my view that showing unity and support when the chips are down (it is easy to support success) would give us a better chance of turning things around..

You wouldn't have thought we did it for decades at a time at Roker Park. Tom Cowie and a minor Murray revolt aside it was a pure make the best of it mentality. We were famous for it. What happened to us?

There was even a time when the crowd was our twelfth player. Opposition now have our number, quiet the crowd, we try stir things up and get hit when it suits them. The crowd then becomes their added player.
