Just back (to Membury ****ing Services). We were excellent bar a shaky first 10-15. JCS and Balogun both dominated until JCS’ latest injury. Dunne slotted straight in and we restricted to half chances at 2-1. Both full-backs again very solid and Paal got another great assist which even the again mediocre (IMO) Roberts couldn’t miss. Tim Ireogbabdhdhsnbum looked a better balance on the right of the three in midfield and he and Field looked physically a lot bigger than their midfield I thought. Willock and Chair did their thing as ever. Dykes’ cameo defensively was very good and Dozzell should really have finished them off with a chance towards the end. Dieng’s save at 0-0 was superb. One of his best ever. Happy Jewish New Year to you all.
Happy birthday Col, 61 is an excellent age. If we get through this week unbeaten count that as an early Christmas present too. I can only see us getting better under Beale, though there will of course be rough days. Seems to have taken us a long way already, and says himself he’s barely started. Neat neat neat.
I think that game showed that we have both sides to our game at the moment, the pretty stuff and the ugly stuff. Some fantastic play between midfield and attack at times and then some gutsy defending, starting with the front line. I'm still thinking that we don't actually need a striker and that if we started with one then our play wouldn't be as half as good. Willock, Chair and Roberts will cause any team in this division problems.
Happy birthday Col - remember you're as young as you feel, so enjoy celebrating the R's victory and your birthday.
Good to show we can win without Chair and Willock having to score, great for Roberts to finally get one and he really celebrated it. I like it when loanees seem well integrated with the squad.
Evening All....... Been up a ladder most of the afternoon painting the outside of the exit strategy house...... managed to grab the odd look at the live score on the mobile, but as Mrs TR said when she spotted me doing that, that it wasn't the most sensible thing to be doing up a ladder...... she wasn't wrong..... Anyway, that's a cracking result and a statement of intent...... well done lads..... just waiting for Cock Robin to come on here to offer his congratulations.... Get a point on Tuesday and that damn thing called hope rises again.... Up The R's

61, 61, yeh I remember 61. Short term memory is a bit of a challenge now but 61 was long enough ago that i can recall it. And it wasn't that great a year so I hope your is better than mine was
Beale said Jake Clarke-Salter, who limped off in the second half of his comeback match, was only suffering from cramp. But Rangers must hope that Kenneth Paal, who had another fine game, will be fit for the midweek trip to Sheffield United after picking up a knock. Niko Hamalainen is also currently nursing an injury. “I knew Jake would struggle to play 90 minutes, but he is all good,” Beale said. “He (Paal) had a dead leg and he said he was feeling a strange sensation, so we hope it’s not too serious because at the moment Niko has a bit of knock, so it’s not ideal.”
I was there last season, it's not bad - I've been in far worse. Think they were trying out some sort of singing section away in the far corner if I remember. Mostly remember some fat carrot-cruncher giving it large in the stand to the left of us....until Barbet banged in a last minute winner
