"titans of English football" Remind me, How long you been out of the top flight now? BTW the last bloke who bought tickets in our end and then shouted his mouth off didn't enjoy his trip to Ashton Gate very much. But he did have the brass neck to show up in court and pronounce himself a family man just trying to watch a game of football. Still he made it home a little bruised but well enough .. Which is more than can be said for his shredded Leeds shirt.
You should be honoured even to be talking to a fan of a club as glorious as Leeds. And the Latvian weather has actually been rather nice recently, some decent temperate afternoons and none of this rain you English have to sit through.
The answer, as I explained last year, is down to the fact that there are season ticket holders in the East End and of course, the standard segregation requirement. Its not that hard really...
Leeds fans do it to almost every club (or have in recent years, dunno about this year, doubt it'd be any different). Half the time you don't know they're there but it is also down to the home club to give a decent enough allocation to try and prevent this from happening
Half the time wont be good enough! Entering a football ground as an away fan in the wrong area should be a criminal offence, this would save decent City fans ending up in court because of loud mouthed twats who don't consider the consequences of their actions and then have the gall to complain when they get a slap. whinging **** deserved it.
Nothing wrong being an away supporter in the home end as long as you keep yer mouth shut and don't wear your colours
I agree with that. That means you wouldn't get caught and it also means no trouble. I don't condone violence on an away fan just because they are in the wrong place, however the incident I refer to, he was a mouthy twat who caused an issue that wouldn't have occurred had he not been there! What I despise about him is he knew what he was doing and then when he got his inevitable slap, went running to the law and whinged like a little pussy.
When we played West Ham last season there were a few of them, they never made a scene so they were just watching a game of football. The fan 2 years ago caused a scene and knew exactly what the consequences were, but he wanted to show your following up. As I said I don't condone violence but I did that in Elland Road I would expect to be carried out. If you want to complain about allocation I suggest you speak to him. We on this board have no say in what tickets you get. Truthfully I loved it the time Everton and Newcastle came down and had the whole end created a fantastic atmosphere. But also you have to respect the fans that pay for their season tickets to sit in the Eastend stand. You might have a big following well done to you, but do you give Mancs more tickets because they have a bigger following than you? whining on this forum ain't getting you any more tickets
Everything else aside.. Theres no doubt that this will be a very difficult game against an in form side who have a striker in Becchio who is on fire, I think they may be too sharp for our current Central defenders. I would take a draw now..
