That's a very good point for City; two points better off than many of us expected last Friday. We're still very much in touch even if a couple did win tonight and only Wednesday and Ipswich have lost. No shots on target recorded for Brighton; well done everyone.
I am stuck in Milan, so could only watch it on the BBC and livescores as they updated. Could have been a worse evening and I think that makes 3 games unbeaten and 2 clean sheets in a row. 67% possession and 13 shots on goal versus none from Brighton, would seem to indicate they came for the draw.
Bit of a compliment if that was the case glenngregory one of the top 6 sides visiting the championships bottom side hoping for a draw.
S O'D said his first priority was to stop Brighton playing their usual game then to try and win it he got the first bit right and with a bit better luck/or finishing we could have had all 3 points which to be honest I thought we might get as he has managed to get the defence playing better.
Brighton most certainly didn't come for a draw, we just didn't allow them the time and space to play the game that they wanted to...
SOD did brilliant again with the players he has at his disposal. Well pleased with our performance tonight, if only we had SOD a month earlier. As it is I think we'll just miss out.
