Bristol City got away with one against West Brom but it was still a point well made Bristol Live fan columnist Math Withers breaks down Bristol City's 0-0 draw with West Brom at Ashton Gate https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/bristol-city-west-brom-point-8759072
Let me be clear. Vyner is 10 times the player that Junior could ever be. He's got there on his own volition as well. I like to keep a few feet on the floor about Vyner, as I do about Max O'Leary.
Different type of player completely, not sure how you make the comparison...each to their own I suppose
A bit confused, please elaborate? If you mean I don't rate Tanner, as you don't Vyner, then yes, I get it. I just think Tanner is too raw at this level right now. I agreed with you last year on the mistakes Vyner made, my point then was, as it is now, he was 1 of 3 CB's who made multiple mistakes last season that lead to us conceding, along with Atkinson & Naismith, but you only ever called Zak out for it - that I thought was unfair. The last 10-12 months, Zak has come on significantly, and it seems everybody but you has recognised and acknowledged this.
I think it's the other way around RP, we don't think he's bad as you keep making out. You pick out his mistakes every time, more than any other player.. He and Naismith have mistakes in them, but need to be countered with the value they bring to the team... To me Vyner earns his start
I agree, he seems better than Dickie from what I've seen so far. I also agree Naismith has a mistake in him, he nearly got caught pi**ing about 25yards from goal last night. However I really like him as a footballer playing alongside a CH. He's also decent in midfield.
